This Burnt Bowl was turned out of Liquid Amber wood by Stewart Campbell.
A growing collection of hand-turned bowls, each cut from a different timber and finished to suit the piece — friction polish, tung oil and wax, or carnauba oil or Odie’s oil, chosen for what best brings out that particular timber. Shapes and sizes vary from piece to piece, shaped to suit the grain and character of that particular board rather than forced into a set mould. Every bowl is one of a kind; no two are ever quite the same.
